What if you just did it?

It's that simple.

Just do it.

Yes, it is marketing. But it is also one of the truest statements I know. It’s so simple and yet, we make it so difficult.

Two years ago, Jason and I had a wild idea to bring GTM leaders to the wilderness of Montana for a retreat. Now, after our second year, nearly 100 leaders have walked through the Arcadia Leadership Experience.

Five years ago, I made the decision to dive into the Salesforce ecosystem and learn it from the inside out. Since then, I have built and consulted on numerous partner programs that drive revenue and make a real impact.

Two and a half years ago, Jason and I sat upstairs humming a theme song to a podcast we thought was silly and fun. Today that show has crossed nearly 10,000 downloads and is relaunching in October.

One month ago, we launched the Arcadia Constellation. Thirty leaders have already joined, each one chasing their own version of greatness and writing their own definition of success.

Four months ago, I was not a runner. Since then I have finished two races and am already looking for the next one.

This is not a list of accomplishments. To be honest, I’m not qualified to do any of this. But none of are, until, we are. Because we did.

This is proof that you can make a decision and follow it with action. It is rarely overnight. But it will happen if you show up, and keep showing up, even when it feels impossible or silly, even when you are the newest voice in the room, even when no one seems to notice.

We all have a thousand reasons not to. Too busy. Too risky. Not the right time. But what if you asked yourself a different question. What is the best that could happen?

Because our thoughts shape our reality. And when you begin from possibility, you build a life that reflects it.

The longer you wait, the longer you will wonder, “What if?” Or even worse, “I wish I would have.”

Arcadia exists for leaders who are ready to stop wondering and start doing. Who are tired of living by metrics and want to live with meaning. Who are willing to show up fully human, and walk alongside others who are doing the same. Because, what’s the best that could happen?

Next month we welcome Yarrow Kraner to the Constellation, who will guide us through creative problem solving, purpose, and interpersonal growth. Come join us.

Be great.
Sam
