I’ve been a bit quiet lately. Honestly, it’s been a bit hard to find the inspiration to write. The Yarborough household has had some challenging job changes lately and, I have shut down. It has brought up a lot of buried things that I didn’t actually even know were things.

But, after some (or a lot) of reflection, this is it - This is the work of Arcadia. It going through all of it and finding our version of success in the midst- the good, the hard and the everyday.

So, I’m back. And we are piecing together possibilities and I have moments of complete panic. And then I have moments of excitement that we get to put one foot in front of the other. Just like everyone.

And, while Jason and I may be hosting this community of leaders, we are getting just as much out of this. The conversations we’re having as a collective on the reality of the world, the things we’re learning about how to be better at our jobs, or relationships, or maybe even just kinder to ourselves, the connections we’re sharing to catapult each other to the next stage or transition and sometimes simply the space we’re able to hold for each other to just say, me too. It’s something truly special.

In a world of highlight reels, 20x exists and six packs, honesty can be so refreshing.

It’s really interesting, over the last 9 months, I have just found myself craving and creating spaces where this happens - people can be honest, and create connections that move them in some way. And, it’s been a gift.

There are so many upcoming events. Join us. Who knows, maybe one will change everything:
