Last night in the Rockies was quite the experience. I looked out my window and noticed a red tint in the sky. I immediately ran around the house, turned off every light, and threw coats at the kids. “Meet me outside!” I yelled as they looked at me, annoyed that I’d turned off the TV.
They ran outside, assuming something was wrong, and found their mom lying in the grass in her down coat and muck boots. They joined me.
We looked up, and the sky gave us a show.
Here in Montana, we’re blessed with clear skies and spectacular stars. Hence the Constellation. But Northern Lights are a rarity. And last night was like nothing I’ve ever seen. What a gift.

As the colors danced above us, naked to the visible eye, I couldn’t stop thinking about something my friend Elliott likes to remind me of: “We’re all just on a rock floating around a ball of gas.”
You can laugh all you want, but that’s a fact.
What a reminder to stop, take a deep breath, look up, hug the ones you love, move your body, do work you’re proud of and be kind to each other. That’s it. That’s all there is.
Speaking of Constellations, here’s what’s happening:
Brianna Doe released her book The Unapologetic Professional (!!!) this week. We welcomed her on the Friends with Benefits podcast to talk about:
• Why fear is a sign you’re heading in the right direction
• How to define your own version of success
• Why authenticity is the most powerful career strategy you can haveWlll Taylor is the Arcadian Luminary of the Month. Read the full interview here. If you don’t know Will, you should.
This month’s guest speaker in the Constellation This month, Amanda Goetz joined us in the Constellation where she challenged everyone to make space for all the characters that give life meaning. There were so many takeaways from her session. Arcadians have been reworking their priorities, boundaries, and definitions of success ever since.
Coming up in December, we’re welcoming Kat Hill Contag - Fractional Growth leader and winner of Lovable’s SheBuilds Hackathon to talk about AI. She’ll share practical ways to learn, build and execute within minutes.
Because if we don’t, well, we might just get left behind.
If you’re serious about leveling up your leadership, your habits, and your opportunities, the Constellation gives you the people and structure to do it.
Be great,
Sam
