There's a moment at Arcadia Leadership Experience, usually somewhere in the middle of the second day, where the small talk runs out.
It happens during a hike, or over a long dinner, or around the campfire when the stars stat to emerge. Someone asks a question that's actually on everyone's mind. And the conversation lands somewhere most rooms full of senior leaders never quite get to.
I have watched this happen at every ALX, and it never stops surprising me.
Most of us spend years in rooms with other senior leaders without ever quite getting to the thing we actually need to talk about. The badge scans, the safe panels, the contacts that go nowhere. We leave with a tote bag and the same loneliness and superficial ROI we walked in with.
ALX is the space where people come in not knowing anyone and leave with peers who feel like the people they had been looking for. The phones stay in pockets. The conversations go beyond pleasantries. Someone says the thing they have not said out loud in months, and the whole group often says yeah, me too.
Every time. Without fail.
We are that space again this July in the mountains outside Bozeman. Pricing for ALX26 goes up at midnight tonight. If you have been thinking about it, sitting with it, or telling yourself you will figure it out next year, this is the moment to stop thinking and grab your spot.
ALX is filling up. The people who are supposed to be there are already signing up. Are you one of them?
Be Great,
Sam
